Playing Real Estate Cupid!

Thanks to a great client and friend for sharing with us this recent article in the Wall Street Journal about how people engage with real estate online.

The article states that "first impressions seem to matter most when it comes to dating, job interviews... and real estate listings."

How true that is! Having been involved in each of the above within recent recollection, I will say first impressions are critical to the success or failure of many endeavors.

"Overall, when viewing an online real-estate listing, home buyers spend about 60% of their time on photos, 20% on the property description and 20% on the real-estate agents' remarks section...Without an eye-catching photo, the battle is lost before it begins...You have to grab people's attention within two seconds." It is with this and the fact that today more than 80% of buyers find their home online, that we at the Warner Hall Group have always made choosing the primary photo of our listings a strategic priority - the right angle of the property, the right time of day, and the best color and brightness correction available.
